The Rotary Foundation (TRF)

You’ll notice some changes on your next quarterly bill regarding The Rotary Foundation. As you know, for the past few years, Hal Atzingen and Sam Hinkle have headed up our clubs TRF program and have asked everyone to make a pledge and to contribute to OUR Rotary Foundation. This past year we unfortunately did not meet our club’s goal. Numerous members have asked about having the TRF contribution put back on the quarterly billing statements. Thanks to the success of our Grapes & Apes event, we have subtracted a few items off of your bill and have added a contribution to The Rotary Foundation. We are asking that everyone contribute $50.00 per quarter which would help us meet our club goal of $200.00 per capita. Other than your Rotary International dues and lunches, this is the only financial responsibility that will be placed on you. The Rotary Foundation is what allows us to do things like Gift of Life, Matching Grants, Ambassadorial Scholars, Group Study Exchange Teams and PolioPlus. It is what makes us the greatest charitable organization in the world today! Please include this payment on your quarterly invoices and help us ensure that we make a community, our country and our world a little bit better place for us all!
